The
Irish Times had some really nice
things to say about St. Mullins in
their travel supplement on 25/04/09.
Here's a snippet; "ST MULLIN’S,
on the bank of the River Barrow in
Co Carlow, is somewhere you’ve
likely never been, but when you do
go you’ll never forget it. Five or
six tiny winding boreens all arrive
at a higgledy bit of oblong medieval
commonage on top of a stunted hill,
with a steep Norman motte towering
over it, and right below you the
broad, treacle-coloured Barrow
trundles by". For more on

| Just look at
some of the nice things people have to say
about us! |
| |
|
"Genuinely hospitable and reasonably priced,
this is a place where the hosts want their
guests to relax and make the most of every
moment. Magic!" |
| |
| "For those
with a slightly smaller budget, the Mulvarra
guest house overlooking the River Barrow in
the tiny hamlet of St. Mullins (one pub, one
ruined monastery, one round tower, one high
cross, one paradise) is certainly worth
investigating." |
